Depend on where do you live.
It is depend on where do you live. As example I live in the Netherlands. Here if a daady loose job then the government supports you. But I dont know about the country you live.

Adjust Your Status......
Hey motorman, you would probably be surprised at how many hundreds of thousands of people miss out on their child support payments each year. It is a common problem because when you are on your own, trying to support yourself, and then also need to send money for child support, it can knock you down no matter how much you love your child and want to support them.
If you are having problems keeping up with child support payments, you should look into a MODIFICATION DUE TO CHANGED CIRCUMSTANCES.
Contact the Child Support Enforcement Office in the state where the child support was originally issued. With them, you can formally file a motion to request a modification of the child support payments you owe because of your change in income. They can also answer your questions on child support very specifically for that state.
In other words, you can adjust your status with the Child Support Enforcement Office so that the amount you owe for child support will be more appropriate for your current financial situation. In other words, in your situation, your child support payments would likely go down.
Remember that if you begin to make more money and still owe child support, you should adjust your status with the Child Support Enforcement Office so that your child support payments are once again appropriate for your current income.
I hope this information was helpful, let us know how things are going. Good luck!

joint custody is great
You are definitely right - joint custody is the best way for two parents to enjoy relationships with their kids. It lets the kids experience time with both parents instead of losing touch with one of them. It also lets the custodial parents to have some time to themselves and at the same time the non custodial parent is happy to see his/her kids. Even the kids will feel good knowing that their mom or dad will come and spend time with them every week at the same time, it makes kids feel secure and happy knowing their parent cares enough to come see them

Hello I agree with this also, this is the best way to answer you question, but it really depends on the situation, for example if the parents are too far with each other it will make it complicated, dealing with children and divorce is really hard to solve especially with children. if this your situation well you should try to look for a new job to support your child or give it to her mother until the time you got a new job. If that's ok with her.
