texting up

The worst break up experience I had happened when my girlfriend of many years ( I don't want to say how many because it's embarrassing once you hear this story) decided to break up with me without even talking to me in person. Actually she did not even give me a phone call.

She sent me a text saying she was done with our relationship. I thought it was a joke at first but the more i read it the more i realized it was not a joke. I texted her and asked if she was serious and she said yes. When I asked her why she would text me this she said she just couldn't face me when telling me the news. wow.

I had almost all of her friends phone numbers so i texted them all the text she sent me, and told them this is the type of friend they have.

People don't realize how important it is to break up with someone in person until it happens to them, i am included in that group.
