Your Experience: How You Go Through a Deadbeat Dad Situation
What do you think?
I was reading this blog and I was asking myself what was the best attitude to use to go through a deadbeat dad situation, which I'm currently going through.
Do you feel like you're better off fighting every injustice that comes by with all your energy? Or do you think it's better to move on to the point that you will forget about it and spend your energy somewhere else, despite getting screwed on a few instances?
I find it personally hard to fight for the money that my children deserve because I know that somehow they probably feel that something is going wrong. I don't want my children to live in a stressful environment or be fake to them...

Deadbeat Slander
The first thing you need to question is the following:
1) If you went into business with the dad, taking out an 18 year loan to buy a factory and then the dad 'left', leaving you with the factory and the loan, what would you do?
2) Clearly you value your kids more than it costs to care for those kids. Therefore, you have retained all the value of the collateral that backed your joint debt.
I would forget him entirely or ask him to give up his rights entirely. If neither one of you are able and *willing* to care for the kids, then adoption is your best bet.
Count your blessings, I would love custody of my kids even if I did not receive support. Instead I pay support and get 1 weekend per month.
