Boyfriend left me

Well my boyfriend of 3 years left me today. I have been telling him that i Want to wait until marriage to have sex and he was cool with it, until now i guess. He has been with me through everything, ups and downs, goods and bads, and I know that he would leave me if we did end up doing it. I know that sex isnt that big of a deal but at the same time something is telling me not to let go of my virginity quite yet. What should I do? Should I just do it with him, because we do love each other, or hold out?

Depends on your reasons. Why are you waiting for marriage? Even if you got married there's no guarantee you'll stay married.
